FAQs |
1. Can you tell the gender of the baby?
In most cases, yes. If we can not determine the gender and you want to know, you are welcome to come back for a second peek free of charge. If you do not want to know, we will make every effort to not record that part of the baby's anatomy.
2. How much time should I allow for the viewing?
Allow 1 hour for your 3D/4D visit and 1/2 hour for a 2D session. Actual scanning time will be limited to a maximum of 30 minutes. The other 30 minutes will be used for preparation and delivery of your CDs, DVDs or VHS videos.
3. How do I schedule an appointment?
You can contact us by phone at 904-268-1006 or email us at info@astorksview.com. Massages may be scheduled at the above or by calling 904-874-9061.
4. What do I need to bring to my appointment?
Wear comfortable 2 piece clothing - dresses are not recommended. You do not need to have a full bladder. You will also need to have your healthcare provider (physician) sign the Physician's Acknowledgement Form. Please call A Stork's View with any additional questions.
5. When are you open?
A Stork's View is open 7 days a week by appointment, with evening and holiday hours by request.
6. When is the best time for A Stork's View 3D/4D ultrasound?
If you have your viewing before 24 weeks, babies have room to move around in the womb which makes for a fun video and you can see every part of your child. After 24 weeks, facial features are more developed. Some clients prefer both views and book our Combo Package.
7. How many family members can I bring with me?
We have comfortable seating and excellent viewing on our large screen TV for 8 people and can make room for more if requested. We also have a play area for children in the viewing room.
8. How long will I have to wait for my videos, DVDs or pictures?
You will leave your appointment with all CDs, pictures, videos and DVDs included in the package you choose.
9. What if my baby won't cooperate?
Sometimes babies are shy and don't want to show us their face. If this happens, we will bring you back at a later date at no charge. We are usually able to get great pictures the second time around.
10. What types of payment do you accept?
A Stork's View accepts cash, checks, debit cards, and all major credit cards.
11. Do you accept insurance?
A Stork's View ultrasounds are non-diagnostic and considered a supplemental service which is not covered under insurance policies at this time.
12. Will my pictures always be clear?
We will make every effort to obtain the best possible image, but every baby and mother scan differently based on gestational age, position, amount of fluid and mother's size.
